Over the past several years we've gone a long way... Starting off as a few recycled computers in 2007, and over time inheriting some recycled enterprise-class servers, and now we've made another huge step.
The hamiltonshells redesign project is complete.
This new server brings in a new level of performance. Never before have we had a setup with this amount of number-crunching muscle, with the reduced electricity demands everyone can enjoy.
Special thanks go to those users who have made contributions to the server fund. Your contribution has made this service worthwhile to run, as well as to use. But that's not to say that all of our users aren't important. Without you, this server would probably cease to exist.
So three cheers for bloomfield, let's just hope we don't run out of FS space for our users.
